On Monday evening, the UCI published the official list of teams that have submitted the necessary documents to compete next season as a ProTeam or WorldTeam. The Italian MBH Bank Ballan CSB and the brand-new American team Modern Adventure Pro Cycling, led by George Hincapie, are two of the squads aiming for ProTeam status.
A new American cycling team is set to enter the peloton in 2026 under the provisional name Modern Adventure Pro Cycling. The well-known former rider George Hincapie is involved in the lineup and will play a key role in management.
The team submitted the required documents by October 15th to be eligible for a ProTeam license. Over the past six months, the team has been actively recruiting riders. As a ProTeam, you need a roster consisting of at least 20 riders.

Another prominent name on the official list of teams that have submitted the necessary documents to compete as a ProTeam next season is MBH Bank Ballan CSB. The Italian continental team has had a successful year.
For instance, rising star Pavel Novák won the final stage of the Giro NXT GEN and finished third overall. The Czech rider will skip the potential step to the ProTour, as he has signed a three-year contract with Movistar.
These teams want to register as ProTeams for 2026.
