For many cyclists, it’s a no-go: wearing white shorts during a bike race. However, some riders don’t adhere to this unwritten cycling rule, and INEOS Grenadiers is going even further next year. In 2026, all riders of the British team will compete in a very daring color combination.
INEOS Grenadiers had already given a sneak peek of their 2026 kits on their social media channels. It was immediately noticeable that the team seemed to race wearing white shorts. This is indeed the case. The kit will still feature some orange next year, but the vast majority is pure white.
Completely white shorts: it’s something you rarely see in cycling. When Mathieu van der Poel occasionally wore white shorts as world champion, it sparked quite a reaction—and not all of it was positive.
Designed to stand out. Crafted to perform.

This largely relates to the increased contribution from TotalEnergies to the team of Thymen Arensman and Filippo Ganna. Last year, the company already had a prominent spot on the jersey, but now its influence is even more visible. The kit was developed by clothing supplier Gobik.
