AG Insurance-Soudal can count on main sponsors’ support for years to come

Good news for AG Insurance-Soudal: the Belgian squad can continue to rely on its main sponsors Soudal and AG Insurance in the coming years. This was announced on Tuesday during the team presentation. The deal is extended until the end of 2030.

AG Insurance-Soudal came into existence in 2022, thanks to Patrick Lefevere. The former team manager of Soudal Quick-Step managed, with the help of several companies – including insurance firm AG Insurance – to establish a women's team. Soudal, a Belgian manufacturer of silicone and foam products for the construction sector, also came on board at some point.

The team quickly grew into one of the better-performing squads in women’s cycling. Last year, the team recorded twelve victories, and these were no minor wins. Mauritian champion Kimberley Le Court Pienaar won Liège-Bastogne-Liège and a stage in the Tour de France Femmes, while Sarah Gigante achieved exceptional success in the Giro Women with two stage wins.
