Alexander Kristoff has only just hung up his bike shoes, but already has a new challenge. The Norwegian is becoming co-owner of the Norwegian continental team Team Drali-Repsol.
Drali-Repsol was known in recent years as Team Coop-Repsol. Since Coop will stop sponsoring at the end of 2025, the Norwegian cycling team was urgently looking for a new title sponsor. One was found at the last minute in bicycle brand Drali, securing the team’s future through 2028.
Kristoff will become a co-owner of the team and will mentor young talents on the squad. In recent years, the team has produced talents such as Embret Svestad-Bårdseng and Storm Ingebrigtsen. Unibet Rose Rockets also bought riders from the Norwegian team over the past two years, including Cedrik Bakke Christophersen and, this season, Karsten Larsen Feldmann.
