Giro 2026: No surprises in Visma | Lease a Bike lineup

Visma | Lease a Bike has announced the final selection for the Giro d'Italia (May 8-31). There are no surprises in the Dutch team's eight-rider lineup. The squad is fully focused on the general classification for team leader Jonas Vingegaard.

Vingegaard is the clear top favorite for the overall victory. He was already considered a favorite based on his past performances, but this spring he convincingly won Paris-Nice and the Tour of Catalonia. If Vingegaard wins the Giro, he will have won all three Grand Tours. The Tour de France (2022, 2023) and Vuelta a España (2025) are already on his palmarès.

In pursuit of his first Giro win, Vingegaard will be supported by two Dutch riders: Bart Lemmen and Wilco Kelderman, who himself finished third at the Giro d'Italia in 2020. Additionally, the team includes three Belgians: Victor Campenaerts, Timo Kielich, and Tim Rex. On paper, Vingegaard's main climbing domestiques are Italian Davide Piganzoli and American Sepp Kuss.
