Lucinda Brand is nearly unstoppable this cyclocross season. The Baloise Glowi Lions rider is currently dominating the women’s cyclocross scene, as she demonstrated once again on Sunday with a resounding victory in the Namur World Cup. With this win, Brand can also call herself the (for now) undisputed queen of victories.
Lucinda Brand is now 36 years old, but the Dutch rider seems to be entering her third youth this season. She has certainly been in control in recent weeks: her win tally for the 2025-2026 season has already reached ten.
It all began with a win in Ardooie, followed by success in Exact Cross of Essen, the X2O rounds at the Koppenberg and in Lokeren, the Superprestige races at Niel and Merksplas, the X2O event at Hamme, and the World Cup rounds at Tábor, Terralba, and Namur.
In the international victory standings, Brand remains ahead of Maghalie Rochette. We still remember the Canadian from her win in the Iowa World Cup, and she has been a dominant force in the United States for years. This season, she has already claimed nine wins on American and Canadian soil. The Czech Kristýna Zemanová is currently third with eight cyclocross wins.

In the elite men's victory ranking, we don’t see the usual big names in cyclocross at the top, but rather Briton Thomas Mein and Americans Andrew Strohmeyer and Eric Brunner. Each leads the standings with seven wins. The first truly ‘big’ names in cyclocross are Michael Vanthourenhout and Thibau Nys. They have already won four times this season and share seventh place.
