Notable: Uno-X Mobility opts against black kit in Liège-Bastogne-Liège after all
Those looking for the orange-red of Uno-X Mobility today will be disappointed. At least, that’s how it seemed. The Scandinavian team was supposed to race Liège-Bastogne-Liège in an all-black kit, but for unclear reasons, they ultimately went with their regular jersey.
“You don’t see us coming,” the WorldTour team wrote on social media ahead of the classic. Photos showed the team would not only ride in a black kit but also with a black helmet and on a black bike in the fourth monument of the year.
#DarkHorse tagged Uno-X Mobility when announcing the news. No reason was given for the special kit, and it remains a guess why they ultimately decided against the black outfit.
Last year the team did wear a special kit. Back then, the squad chose a green-red outfit as a tribute to the historic Team 7-Eleven.
