Pauline Ferrand-Prévot extends contract with Visma | Lease a Bike
Great news for Visma | Lease a Bike. Tour winner Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has extended her contract with the team by one year and is now signed until 2028.
Ferrand-Prévot signed a three-year contract with Visma | Lease a Bike in 2024 and has now decided to add an additional year. In the press release, the French rider says: “I really enjoy being part of this team and I feel happy and at home here. For the first time, I truly feel understood, both as a person and as a rider. I don’t see myself going anywhere else," she explains.
“Next year I want to focus on developing my time trialing skills. Together with the team, we have set that as a goal. Additionally, I hope to be at my best for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, which is an exciting long-term target.”
Team manager Rutger Tijssen is also featured in the press release. Tijssen describes the French rider as an “exceptional athlete.” “But what really sets her apart is how she combines ambition with a constant drive for improvement. She sets high standards for herself and for us as staff.
“Not only during races, but also in preparation and mindset. That elevates the entire team to a higher level. Her long-term commitment provides the team with a sense of stability and confidence.”
