The German bike brand ROSE Bikes is not only the new bike supplier for Unibet Rockets but will also become the new title sponsor of the French team with Dutch roots. This was announced Tuesday by the Bocholt-based company.
Unibet Tietema Rockets will race under a different team name in 2026. Co-founder Bas Tietema will no longer serve as the name sponsor of the French team with Dutch roots next year, the team announced Monday. The outfit will henceforth be known as Unibet Rose Rockets, as the German bike brand ROSE Bikes steps in as bike and title sponsor.
"At ROSE Bikes, we believe cycling is much more than numbers and victories. It’s about personal challenges, the stories you experience on the tough road to your goal, emotions, and pure passion. Like the Rockets, we want to convey this as a brand and through our products," reads a press release.
"That’s why ROSE Bikes and the Rockets are a perfect match: effective immediately, we support the Unibet Rose Rockets as our bike partner. Here too, we will redefine and experience sponsorship as a partnership."

Tietema: "This allows us to grow"
Co-founder Bas Tietema is very pleased with the acquisition of the new bike and title sponsor. "It’s special to welcome ROSE Bikes as our second name partner. Our look and identity will remain the same. That is unique in the cycling world and something we both strongly believe in. We always knew that a day would come when Tietema would step away from the team name. That was one of the many reasons why we called ourselves Rockets for the 2025 season."
"To grow as a team, we also need financial support. Removing my name from the main sponsorship allows us to grow. For us, Rose is more than just a bike supplier. It is a real partner who shares our vision to make cycling more accessible, to inspire people to ride, and to never lose the joy that brought us into this sport in the first place."

"They also care about more than just racing: they invest in people, storytelling, and making the sport accessible to everyone," sketches Tietema. "Together we want to bring that shared mindset to the biggest races in the world and to as many fans and cyclists as possible," he states ambitiously.
