UCI unveils provisional World Cup calendar for 2026/2027 with a few surprises

The UCI has presented the provisional new World Cup calendar for 2026/2027. The World Cup will once again feature twelve rounds but with some changes. The races in Maasmechelen and Flamanville will no longer be part of the World Cup, and Terralba also appears to have lost its place.

Last year, the World Cup started in the Czech Republic, and it will do so again in 2026. However, this time the UCI opts for two rounds on Czech soil: Ostrava on November 27, followed by Tabor on November 29.

Next comes a round 'outside the Benelux' on December 13. Last year, this was the World Cup race in Sardinia, but it seems this will be dropped. No further changes have been made to the Belgian segment of the World Cup calendar in December, though Besancon has been added to the busy Christmas period on December 29 and the Dendermonde race has been removed from the World Cup calendar.

The World Cup ends with the trilogy Benidorm-Hamme-Hoogerheide. This means Hamme replaces Maasmechelen.
