Unibet Tietema Rockets will ride from next year on the German bike brand ROSE Bikes. The company is based in Bocholt, about 60 kilometers from Arnhem. Several sources have reported this to WielerFlits.
For the past three years, the French ProTeam, which is Dutch-owned, rode Cannondale bikes. In the search for a new bike sponsor, multiple parties were interested in partnering with Bas Tietema and his team.
Last week, the team confirmed the arrival of sprinter Dylan Groenewegen. For Unibet Tietema Rockets, the Amsterdam-born rider is the first big name in the team’s history. With his sprinting abilities, they hope to make another sporting step forward next year.
ROSE Bikes is a developing bike brand that matches the ambitions of the Unibet Tietema Rockets.
The company dates back to 1907, when Heinrich Rose started a modest bike shop in Bocholt. In 2011, ROSE began assembling and selling its own branded bikes under the name ROSE. That same year, the first Biketown was opened in Bocholt — a multifunctional retail and experience space that was later introduced in Munich as well.
Today, ROSE is a leading European bike manufacturer that focuses on its own brand, design, lifestyle, and technical innovation. According to a recent article, the family business achieved a record turnover of just over €200 million in 2024, becoming one of the few bike makers to do so despite the broader sector being in crisis.
