Prologue Den Haag - Den Haag (4.0km)
On Tuesday evening, October 14, the very first NIBC Tour of Holland will kick off with a prologue in The Hague. At 7:00 p.m., the first riders will launch from the starting block in Zuiderpark for a four-kilometer time trial, with the final rider crossing the finish line about two hours later.
In the iconic Zuiderpark—laid out in the 1920s and now a beloved park for the people of The Hague—the riders will first ride one kilometer north through the park, then make a two-kilometer loop to the northwest. Finally, they return along the same road as the first kilometer toward the finish.
This prologue is expected to produce extremely small time gaps, so don’t be surprised if five riders end up with the same time at the finish. For those who want to enjoy the time trial festivities for longer: the Cycling Festival kicks off as early as 3:00 p.m., with the team presentation starting at 4:30 p.m.
