


Elisa Longo Borghini won the Trofeo Tessile & Moda Donne 2025 on Sunday in her home country. The Italian champion from UAE Team ADQ secured victory in the one-day race with a finish atop the climb of Oropa, overcoming Marlen Reusser (Movistar).
The Trofeo Tessile & Moda is a new UCI 1.1 race on the women's calendar. Earlier in the day, the men also raced this event, where Adam Yates claimed the win for UAE Emirates XRG. For the women, the course was nearly identical, although the women's race covered only 95 kilometers, finishing atop Oropa, a final climb of 6.7 km at 7.9% gradient.
The race unfolded as a duel between top favorites Elisa Longo Borghini and Marlen Reusser. Just over three kilometers from the finish, the Italian champion launched her decisive attack. She dropped the Swiss rider and soloed to victory. Her winning margin at the line was 37 seconds. Third place went to Urska Zigart, who finished just within a minute of Longo Borghini.
