Giro 2026: Jardi van der Lee wears the mountain jersey with Vingegaard in pink

Anyone looking for Jardi van der Lee in the peloton will need to spot a blue jersey. The EF Education-EasyPost rider will wear the mountains classification jersey in the fifteenth stage.

The Dutchman is currently second in the mountains classification, but because Jonas Vingegaard leads both the general and mountains classifications and the pink leader's jersey takes priority, Van der Lee gets to wear the blue jersey. He is 84 points behind Vingegaard.

Yesterday, Van der Lee was part of the breakaway in the tough mountain stage to Pila and collected as many as 62 points. This brings his total to 77 points, moving him from thirteenth to second place in the mountains classification.
