GreenEDGE Cycling - the overarching organization of the Jayco AlUla teams - and apparel supplier MAAP unveiled on Tuesday the kits that the cycling teams Jayco-AlUla, Liv AlUla Jayco, and Hagens Berman Jayco will wear throughout the 2026 season.
The announcement marks the second year of collaboration between the two parties. The 2026 kit retains its "distinctly recognizable Aurora color scheme, which was introduced to the world of professional top-level cycling by MAAP in 2025," according to a press release. With the new outfits, they hope to "break patterns."
Still, not everything remains the same, with the addition of a 'flame motif.' "This ensures the team remains one of the most striking and recognizable squads in the pro peloton. The improvements are not only a showcase of creativity and innovation in the WorldTour but rather an expression of ambition and focus. GreenEDGE is not just riding to win; they also want the world to look at cycling differently."
"MAAP has always been driven to push boundaries," summarizes Chief Creative Officer Misha Glisovic. "It's at the core of who we are and how we see our place in the sport. We want to use designs to enhance the appeal of professional cycling and make the sport more stylish and ambitious. Ultimately, we want to stay true to our values at MAAP, and GreenEDGE shares this vision."
Technical developments
The launch is not limited to a new design. Over the past twelve months, MAAP has worked closely with the riders to incorporate a series of technical advancements into the new apparel: a high-quality fabric system, refined manufacturing and construction improvements, and a thin, race-specific outer layer designed for wind and rain protection without compromising breathability.
