Lotto-Intermarché targets Stan Dewulf
Will Stan Dewulf (re)join Lotto-Intermarché from 2027? According to the management of the Belgian team, yes. After a strong spring season, the 28-year-old West Flander has received an offer from CEO Jean-François Bourlart, reports Het Nieuwsblad.
Dewulf made his presence felt everywhere and managed to join the early breakaways both in the Tour of Flanders and the E3 Saxo Classic. That attack even took him to the finale in Harelbeke. He just missed the podium with a fourth place.
At the end of this year, Dewulf's contract with the French Decathlon CMA CGM expires. They are currently working hard to convince Paul Seixas to stay with the team, which means Dewulf is not a priority. The decision is expected during the Giro d'Italia.
Lotto-Intermarché continues to be quite active on the transfer market. Team leader Arnaud De Lie seems set to move to Tudor, and Lennert Van Eetvelt is also being targeted. On the other hand, the team aims to bring in riders like Mauri Vansevenant, Emilien Jeannière, and Valentin Madouas.
