New jersey sponsor for Uno-X Mobility: "This is a perfect match"
Those who pay close attention to the shirts of Uno-X Mobility during Saturday’s Omloop Het Nieuwsblad will notice a new sponsor name. The ambitious squad, featuring riders like Jonas Abrahamsen and Søren Wærenskjold, is entering into a partnership with Faxe Kondi.
This is a Danish soft drink brand produced by Royal Unibrew since 1971 and has since grown into one of Scandinavia’s most recognized soft drinks. It’s a soda with glucose and a mild lemon-lime flavor, primarily enjoyed after sports activity.
However, Faxe Kondi has bigger ambitions and aims to boost its brand awareness through collaboration with the cycling team Uno-X Mobility. The partnership covers both the men's and women's squads. “The collaboration reflects a shared mentality of combining top performance with personality, energy, and unity,” reads a press release.
“This strengthens our presence in Denmark”
“We are a Scandinavian team with strong roots in both Norway and Denmark. Faxe Kondi’s unique position in Danish sports and culture makes it a natural partner for us. This partnership strengthens our presence in Denmark. Over the coming years, we want to give even more Danish cycling fans the feeling that Uno-X really is their team,” said team manager Thor Hushovd.
“This is an important partnership for us, one we are genuinely proud of. It feels like a perfect match, based on our shared identity, mentality, and dedication to developing Scandinavian talent. Faxe Kondi is an iconic brand, and together we want to bring even more color and spirit to cycling,” concluded the former world champion.
The Faxe Kondi name will appear from this Saturday’s Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on the left and right sleeves of the kit.
