
New logo and jersey for Cofidis as main sponsor undergoes rebranding
A new start for Cofidis. The French team unveiled the new brand identity of its main sponsor during a press conference on Tuesday. "This evolution marks an important step in the development of the cycling team," reads a press release.
"It highlights a renewed ambition and strengthens the consistency, visibility, and impact of the brand in all countries where it is active. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the unbreakable bond between the Cofidis group and all the riders of the cycling team," the team adds.
This rebranding of Cofidis comes with a new logo and cycling kit. The riders participating today in the Walloon one-day race Le Samyn have the honor of wearing the jersey for the first time in competition. "This kit is thus the most striking symbol of Cofidis's new brand identity," the statement continues.
The team maintains the iconic Cofidis red and yellow but gives these colors a warmer look that conveys more accessibility, energy, and care, the team writes.
New source of inspiration
"It is a way to clearly and powerfully affirm our identity and ambition," says Gilles Sauret, chairman of the board of directors of Cofidis Group. "These new colors will certainly be a fresh source of motivation to continue the positive momentum we have built since the start of the season," adds team manager Raphaël Jeune.
"We have entered this new era with determination and ambition. These new colors and the new logo illustrate our renewed mentality and commitment during races. Since the off-season, we have worked on improving every aspect of our performance. We are collectively focused on strengthening our momentum and delivering results throughout the year."
