While some riders seem to be longing for the off-season, that doesn’t appear to be the case for Paul Seixas just yet. The 19-year-old Frenchman wanted to head out one more time before the end of the season and completed a ride lasting more than twelve hours last weekend.
This weekend, Seixas decided to "end the season properly" by taking on a monster ride through the French Alps. The AG2R rider cycled a total of 323 kilometers and climbed over 8,000 meters in elevation. In doing so, he burned nearly 10,000 calories, as shown on his Strava.
The climbs the Frenchman tackled en route were: the Col des Saisies, Cornet du Roselend, Petit Saint Bernard, Grand Saint Bernard, and the Col de la Forclaz.
