It has already been almost a month since Pauline Ferrand-Prévot underwent surgery on her ankle, but the French rider still doesn’t feel back to her old self. "Mentally, I am doing very well, but the recovery is definitely going to hurt," she writes.
"It has now been three weeks since the surgery and I am still one hundred percent in the off-season," shares PFP on Instagram. "The truth is that I am truly enjoying every moment. I’ve been lucky enough to visit the most beautiful places, but I’m still struggling with my ankle, which has not fully recovered yet."
"It makes me very tired and there are days when I feel weak and unwell. According to the surgeon, I need to be patient for another three weeks to get everything right," she continues. "Fortunately, I’m mentally doing well and it’s really great to spend time with Dylan, his family, and soon my family too."
Ferrand-Prévot will therefore be extending her off-season by a few more weeks. She ends her message with: "See you in three weeks everyone!"
