Start times team time trial Challenge Mallorca - first Red Bull, then UAE Emirates XRG

In 2025, the Trofeo Ses Salines was still a relatively flat one-day race. Today, we will see a completely different event. The sprint race has been transformed into a team time trial. This TTT is also seen as an important test ahead of the upcoming team time trial in the Tour de France. WielerFlits lists the start times.

The organizers describe it as a ‘non-technical route’. Looking at the route map, we understand why. The course contains only two turns, one turnaround point, and three roundabouts that can be taken at high speed. They have chosen a relatively simple route because of ‘the time of year and the chance of rain,’ they say. “We don’t want to take unnecessary risks.”

The teams will also face no difficult climbs on the course. Just before the finish in Sant Jordi, there is a kilometer-long stretch averaging about three percent uphill, but that won’t trouble anyone. The power riders can unleash themselves over 24 kilometers.

The teams will start at four-minute intervals. The finish of UAE Emirates XRG – the last team to start – is scheduled around 16:00.
