Tadej Pogacar, as a cycling star, has to sign quite a few autographs, but often it's just a scribble on a piece of paper. However, Thibault Escaich went a step further. The French triathlete got a tattoo of an inspiring message that Pogacar wrote for him on a slip of paper.
Escaich didn’t only ask the reigning cycling world champion. Top swimmer Léon Marchand and runner Eliud Kipchoge also gave him special messages, resulting in three unique tattoos. Pogacar wrote the words: "Life is awesome." This motto now remains forever on the body of the French triathlete.

Pogacar is back full-time training for the new cycling season after a well-deserved vacation. Details about his program are still scarce, but the UAE Emirates XRG leader makes no secret that he will line up again at Milan-San Remo and Paris-Roubaix in 2026, two races still missing from his palmarès.
However, the Slovenian is motivated to change that in 2026. In an interview with sports newspaper Marca, he also expressed the expectation that he will be at the start of the Tour de France again next year.
Next season, the 27-year-old powerhouse can win the Tour de France for the fifth time. He would then join the elite list of Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, and Miguel Indurain, all five-time winners of the Tour de France.
