The Tour de France Femmes can also count on support from Zwift for the next four years. The ongoing partnership between the global cycling event and the online platform has been extended, as was announced shortly before the route presentation of the next edition of the women's Tour de France.
Zwift has been a partner of the event since the very first edition of the Tour de France Femmes in 2022. By bringing Zwift on board as a sponsor, organizer ASO hoped to give women's cycling an extra boost.
"When we decided to get involved, it already felt like the right choice, and over the past four years, that has certainly proven true," says Kate Veronneau on behalf of Zwift in an interview with TNT Sports. "Through this event, we have inspired so many women to start cycling. The sport has attracted new fans, sponsors, and investors. It’s an amazing event, and we’re very happy to have our name associated with it."
High ambitions
This is a new sponsorship agreement for the coming four years. According to Veronneau, sponsoring the Tour de France Femmes is "one of the smartest investments" Zwift has made. "It’s wonderful to showcase the magic of women's cycling in this way. As a company, it’s important for us to raise the profile of women's cycling even more and help expand it."
"The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift has truly transformed women's cycling. We are proud to now be able to extend our collaboration."
