Stage 4 Gevrey-Chambertin - Dijon (21.0km)
This year, for the first time since the Grand Départ in Rotterdam, the Tour de France Femmes includes an individual time trial. On Tuesday, the riders will face a 21-kilometer time trial, making it a crucial day for shaping the general classification.
The time trial starts in the small town of Gevrey-Chambertin, after which the riders head north toward Dijon. The first seven kilometers are straightforward, heading directly toward the mustard capital. As the riders approach Dijon, they turn left near Marsannay-la-Côte to tackle a short climb.
This climb rises over 1.8 kilometers at an average gradient of 6.9%, which is likely to create significant time gaps. Even after the summit, the road continues to rise slightly for another two kilometers.
Once at the top, a descent leads into Dijon, where the finish line is located on the Cours Général de Gaulle in the city center.
