Cadex launches new wheelset with matching aero tires

Cadex is launching a new wheelset: the Max 50 WheelSystem. It comes with a specially developed Aero Tubeless tire. Together, they form a complete system designed to be as fast as possible without compromising control.

The Max 50 WheelSystem features a 50-millimeter high carbon rim and carbon spokes with an aerodynamic shape. The hub is also fully carbon. The total weight of the set is 1290 grams. With this wheelset, Cadex aims to combine low weight, high stiffness, and good aerodynamics for top-level racing.

Thanks to Dynamic Balanced Lacing technology, spoke tension remains more stable under load. The internal rim width of 22.4 millimeters optimizes the tire profile.

In addition to the wheelset, Cadex also introduces a new Aero Tubeless tire. These come in two widths: 28 and 30 millimeters. The tire has a specially shaped tread for improved airflow. The 240 TPI casing ensures low rolling resistance, while the Race Shield puncture protection focuses on durability without sacrificing speed, according to Cadex.

In the Benelux region, the Max 50 WheelSystem has a recommended retail price of €3,798 per set. The Aero Tubeless tires cost €89.95 each.
