The riders of Euskaltel-Euskadi will race on Quick Pro bikes in 2026. The Basque outfit has signed an agreement with the Chinese bike brand. The team used bikes from the Basque brand Mendiz during the past cycling season.
After nearly three decades, the partnership between Fundación Euskadi (the umbrella organization) and the bike brand Orbea ended at the end of 2024. This was due to a restructuring at Euskadi, while Orbea also chose a different (business) direction. The team then switched to bikes from Mendiz. That bike brand was founded in 1984 by former rider and team director Eusebio Vélez de Mendizábal.
However, after only one year, Fundación Euskadi has once again changed course and said goodbye to Mendiz. From now on, it will collaborate with the relatively unknown brand Quick Pro. Not only will the riders of the pro team Euskaltel-Euskadi ride Chinese bikes next year, but the riders of the development team Euskadi Fundazioa will as well.
"This agreement represents an important step forward in the technological evolution of Euskaltel-Euskadi, and at the same time, marks Quick Pro's entry into the pro peloton," the team announced in a press release. "It is the first time the brand will supply bikes to a ProTeam competing at the highest level, including races on the WorldTour calendar."

Shared values
"The collaboration stems from the shared values and common vision of the Euskadi Foundation, the competitive spirit of Euskaltel-Euskadi, and Quick Pro's dedication to innovation. We share core principles such as fostering talent development, striving for excellence, maintaining strong connections with fans, and embracing innovation as a driving force for growth."
The team, known for their distinctive orange cycling kits, will race on the Quick Pro AR One (aero bike), Quick Pro ER One (climbing bike), and Quick Pro TT One (time trial bike) models. "These bikes are designed to deliver optimal performance under the most demanding conditions," the statement reads.
