CloseTheGap expands regular3 pro series with six new GPS mounts
CloseTheGap introduces six new models within its regular3 pro series. With this expansion, the Dutch brand offers more GPS mount options for different cockpits and stems. The well-known HideMyBell concept remains intact: a GPS mount featuring a subtly hidden yet clearly audible bike bell.
The new models build on the redesigned regular3 pro line introduced in 2025, focusing on ergonomics, ease of installation, and the functionality of the integrated bell. At the same time, CloseTheGap positions the pro series as a more affordable alternative alongside the evo line, giving cyclists the choice between two types of handlebar mounts for many cockpits.
The main difference between the evo and pro series lies in the material and additional features. The evo line is made from carbon-reinforced plastic and features a detachable bell with room for an Apple AirTag. The regular3 pro models are made from glass fiber-reinforced material and feature a fixed bell.
There is also a subtle difference in sound: the evo models use a new silvery material that produces a more refined bell tone compared to the aluminum bell of the pro series. Additionally, a lamp mount is included as standard with the evo line.
Mounting options
The expansion includes various models for different cockpit and stem designs. The compact mini model also returns, specially designed for smaller bike computers. For direct stem mounting, there is the dm version, available for both M5 and M6 bolt mounting. Additionally, there are several brand-specific variants.
The fi version fits cockpits with two bolts in a row, while the sd version is developed for stems with a slot at the front, as is common with brands like Specialized, Orbea, and 3T. Finally, the bb version is designed for cockpits with a GoPro-style mount for the GPS holder. This standard is used among others by BBB, Merida, BMC, Bontrager, Colnago, Cervélo, Factor, and Cannondale.
