Team Picnic PostNL stays winless as UAE Emirates XRG dominates

The season so far has been unproductive for Team Picnic PostNL. The WorldTour squad has yet to secure a single victory, neither in the men's nor the women's races. While other teams have already racked up multiple wins, Picnic PostNL's tally remains at zero.

Meanwhile, UAE Emirates XRG continues to dominate with sixteen victories. Although that is two fewer than at the same point last year, it remains an impressive total many teams can only dream about.

On the women’s side, FDJ-United SUEZ leads the pack with nine wins. Here too, Team Picnic PostNL lingers at the bottom of the standings, sharing that position with Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women and Uno-X Mobility Women.

For Team Picnic PostNL, the focus over the next few weeks is on breaking this drought and capturing their first victory of the season. Perhaps they can do so as early as Wednesday in Nokere Koerse, where the team still managed to win last year with the currently absent Nils Eekhoff.

Evenepoel gains company
In the men’s individual ranking, Remco Evenepoel is joined by Jonathan Milan, who won the final stage of Tirreno-Adriatico on Sunday to secure his sixth victory of the season. Isaac Del Toro, stage and overall winner of the same Tirreno-Adriatico, follows closely with five wins.

Among the women, four riders share the lead: Lorena Wiebes, Demi Vollering, Ally Wollaston, and Catalina Anais Soto Campos. Each has claimed four wins so far this season.
