Uno-X Mobility will operate as a WorldTeam starting next year, bringing with it significant changes. The Norwegian squad has expanded its technical staff with the addition of two team directors: Michael Blaudzun and Asbjørn Kragh Andersen.
Blaudzun (52) and Kragh Andersen (33) were professional cyclists themselves and spent many years in the peloton. Blaudzun (not to be confused with the Dutch singer who named himself after the Danish ex-rider) was a pro from 1995 through 2008, riding for teams such as Rabobank, Telekom, and Team CSC. He was three times Danish time trial champion (2001, 2003, and 2005) and once Danish road race champion.
After his cycling career, Blaudzun took the wheel of the team car for the Danish squad Riwal Readynez, but now he’s returning to the top level. "Michael will add extra depth to our efforts in the Grand Tours as well as week-long stage races we have yet to race," says Gabriel Rasch, Head of Sports, in a press release. "He brings the much-needed experience."

Asbjørn Kragh Andersen, meanwhile, raced for a variety of cycling teams, but is best known for his time at Delko Marseille and Team DSM. At the latter, the brother of Søren Kragh Andersen became a team director after retiring early from his career in 2022.
Closer connection
"Asbjørn will give us a closer connection to the current generation, because he raced alongside many of these riders," Rasch explains. "He is unique due to his young age. He is younger than some professional riders. Asbjørn provides extra depth in certain races, especially in the classics, where his resilience and intelligence come together."
