On Monday, the UCI Road World Championships time trial for both under-23 categories takes place in Rwanda. For well-known reasons, the Netherlands did not send a team to Rwanda, but plenty of interesting names will start in Kigali. WielerFlits has compiled the key start times for you.
The women kick off Monday morning. Just before eleven, Rwandan rider Claudette Nyirarukundo will be the first to leave the start ramp, with riders departing every ninety seconds. It gets particularly interesting around noon when riders like Paula Blasi, Marie Schreiber, and Zoe Backstedt begin their efforts.
The men will complete their time trial between 2 and 4 p.m., without Jarno Widar. Jonathan Vervenne will start representing Belgium. Jakob Soderqvist will roll off the ramp last at ten minutes to four.
