


The second stage of the Women's Tour Down Under 2026 was won on Sunday by Ally Wollaston. After a hilly 130-kilometer stage, she was first to cross the uphill finish in Paracombe. The leader of FDJ United-SUEZ was faster than Noemi Rüegg and thus strengthened her leading position in the general classification.
On day two of this Women's Tour Down Under, the riders climbed a significant amount of elevation on the route to Paracombe. The course covered over 130 kilometers and was never flat. In total, there were five categorized climbs on the route, with the finale featuring the Paracombe climb three times—a climb of about 800 meters at just over 3%. The finish line was at the top of the last climb.


In the general classification, Wollaston leads after two consecutive wins with a 14-second advantage over Josie Nelson of Picnic PostNL. Noemi Rüegg is third in the standings.
