Hugo Houle will ride for Alpecin-Premier Tech in 2026. The Canadian cyclist is joining the Belgian team at the behest of the new title sponsor, Premier Tech, also from Canada. Houle transfers from Israel-Premier Tech, where the company recently withdrew its support after years of backing. With Houle, Alpecin-Premier Tech’s roster is complete for the upcoming season.
We had already reported several transfers for the men’s team of Alpecin-Premier Tech. It was an open secret that Maurice Ballerstedt, Francesco Busatto, Lindsay De Vylder, Jonas Geens, Tim Marsman, Florian Sénéchal, and Gerben Thijssen would ride for the squad led by Mathieu van der Poel and Jasper Philipsen starting in 2026. The team has now officially announced these transfers.
Four riders whose contract status was still uncertain have extended their deals: Michael Gogl, Jensen Plowright, Henri Uhlig, and Luca Vergallito will also race for Alpecin-Premier Tech in 2026.
Omloop winner Lotte Claes joins Fenix-Premier Tech
Premier Tech is also becoming the new title sponsor of the women’s team Fenix-Premier Tech. Transfers of Lotte Claes, Mylene de Zoete, and Fien Van Eynde have been confirmed for that team. However, the full roster for 2026 is not yet finalized.
