Lucinda Brand secures overall win at X2O Badkamers Trofee, Joris Nieuwenhuis extends lead

Before the GP Sven Nys, Nieuwenhuis held a lead of one minute and one second over both Cameron Mason and Niels Vandeputte. The latter did not start in Baal, which meant the Belgian would lose a significant amount of time. Mason did participate and even took fifteen bonus seconds after the first lap. However, throughout the rest of the race, the Brit dropped back significantly. He would ultimately lose more than two minutes to Nieuwenhuis, who now has a lead of three minutes and seven seconds.
