Tadej Pogačar enjoys ski holiday in special location with Urška

Tadej Pogačar has temporarily swapped his bike for skis in preparation for the 2026 cycling season. The Slovenian went on a ski holiday to Isola 2000 in the French Alps with his partner Urška Žigart. This place holds special meaning for the couple.

"Thank you, Isola 2000," Pogačar writes on Instagram. In 2024, he won the nineteenth stage of the Tour de France at this ski resort, after previously training there at altitude with Žigart. Now, the cycling couple went skiing in the area. "It was nice to be in the snow for a change. But now I'm getting back to work on the sunny coast with Niccolo Bonifazio," he laughs, before signing off his message: "Good days, good preparations, and only good vibes with Urška Žigart."

Pogačar still has some time to get ready for the new season. He will resume competition in just under two months, on Saturday, March 7, at Strade Bianche. Later, Milan-San Remo and Paris-Roubaix are particularly big targets for the Slovenian. These are the only Monuments he has yet to add to his palmarès.
