Unibet Rose Rockets has signed 21-year-old German rider Tobias Müller. The rider is transferring from Wanty-Nippo-ReUz, the development team of Intermarché-Wanty. This was announced by the team itself.
Müller is known as a strong sprinter. This year, he took victory in the Belgian one-day race Le Grand Prix Cerami (1.2). "He will strengthen our group of sprinters and has previously ridden on Rose bikes (the team's bike sponsor). We look forward to this German connection," the team stated on their Substack.
"We already have a lot of experience in our sprinters’ group and we also want to add riders with potential. We aim to prioritize our sprint train, focusing not only on the short term but also on the medium and long term. We are very excited to bring on board another fast finisher who has already shown his potential," the statement continued.
The team had earlier announced the arrival of Marcel Kittel as sprint coach, under whose guidance Müller will now be riding.
