Stage 2 Prémilhat - Issoire (204.6km)
On day two, the race will start in the small village of Prémilhat, which, like Montluçon, is part of the Allier department. The riders will then cover a distance of 204.6 kilometers to the finish in Issoire. Along the way, there are six climbs that count towards the mountains classification, but after the final ascent—the Côte de Nonette (1.8 km at 5.7%)—there are still more than 18 kilometers remaining to the finish line. A sprint—possibly from a reduced group—therefore seems a likely scenario.
