Stage 8 Val d'Arc - Plateau du Mont-Cenis (133.3km)
If the time gaps are still within reach after the queen stage, we can definitely expect a spectacular finale. The eighth and final stage takes the riders to the Col du Mont-Cenis. But before they get there, two challenging climbs await: the Col du Beaune (6.6 km at 6.8%) and the Côte d’Aussois (6.3 km at 6.2%). The final climb of the race—a section of the Col du Mont-Cenis—is 9.6 kilometers long at an average gradient of 6.9%. The finish line lies a few flat kilometers beyond the summit.
