Stage 9 Praz-sur-Arly - Châtel (124.1km)

The Tour de France Femmes 2025 concludes with (once again) a tough Alpine stage of 124 kilometers, starting in the modest Praz-Sur-Arly and finishing in the well-known Châtel. After the start, the riders head through Combloux to Sallanches – the venue for the 2027 World Championships – and later tackle the Col de Joux-Plane (11.6 km at 8.6%). This notorious climb, famous for Floyd Landis’ testosterone-fueled ride in 2006, serves as a final major test for the GC contenders. After a fast descent to Morzine, the riders face the Col de Corbier (6 km at over 8%).

The last 25 kilometers towards Châtel continue to ascend, forcing the riders to keep pushing against the burn until the finish. The finish line is located in the ski resort Portes du Soleil, where both the stage winner and the overall winner will be celebrated in the spotlight.
