Ben Healy has been chosen by the Tour de France organizers as the most combative rider of the past three weeks. The Irishman from EF Education-EasyPost succeeds his teammate Richard Carapaz. The Ecuadorian won the Super Combativity Award last year.
Tour organizer ASO announced on Saturday morning that eight riders were in contention for the Super Combativity Award in the 2025 Tour de France. Alongside Healy, the candidates were Tim Wellens, Thymen Arensman, Michael Storer, Quinn Simmons, Jordan Jegat, Jonas Abrahamsen, and Bruno Armirail.
Among these aggressive riders, Healy took home the prize. The Irishman can look back on a particularly successful Tour de France. The 24-year-old rider won the sixth stage to Vire Normandie with an impressive solo, wore the yellow jersey for two days, finished second after a thrilling finale on the Ventoux stage, and—barring accidents—will finish ninth in the general classification.

After adding up the votes of the jury and the public, it is the Irishman who is rewarded for his resolutely offensive Tour!

As with previous editions, the public's vote carries as much weight as that of a select panel of French jury members, namely Thierry Gouvenou (ASO), Laurent Jalabert (RTL), Fanny Lechevestrier (Radio France), Maria Azé (RMC), Pierre Menjot (L'Equipe), and Jacques Klopp (AFP). The public vote was calculated based on a popularity poll on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The public jury on X chose Jonas Abrahamsen as the winner, but combined with the votes from the expert jury, Healy ultimately came out on top.
